Battlefield Blur is a competitive game for 3 - 6 players which uses a trick taking engine with a twist of deduction and hidden information.
You play as a nameless foot soldier on a battlefield trying to read the battlefield and your opponents and end up on the winning side of the battle.
At the start of the game, you'll receive 1 banner and the remainder go into the center of the table face down. Each turn you'll play into a trick and try to win either the battlefield suit or the winning suit (which change each round) to activate powerful abilities which let you narrow down victory, gather information or disrupt your opponents!
The game ends when there is a single banner remaining in the center of the table, all players who match it have joined the winning side and achieve victory!
Flags
The Flags suit will allow you to swap banners and take additional ones from the battlefield to increase your chances of winning!
The Suits
Horns
The Horns suit reveal and peek at hidden banners across the battlefield and amongst players. Use horns to gather information and use it to your advantage!
Swords
The Swords suit allows you to eliminate banners from the game narrowing down victory as well as removing pesky shields which get in the way!
Shields
The Shields suit shields banners keeping them safe from the influence of you and others while also reviving lost banners from the center!
The Battlefield
Each turn a battlefield card is revealed which has a powerful one off ability. When playing into the trick, you can match the battlefield suit to gain it's powerful effect as well as your card's effect if you win.
OR
You can try to be the highest off suit to activate your card ability as well as that of another card in the trick.
